About us
Renault classic car parts
Father and son with a passion for the Renault 16
The story of Renault Oldtimer Parts starts with my father, Geert. Together with my grandfather he restored his first car: a Renault 16. It was love at first sight. Not just for the car, though
also for the restoration itself. His passion for technology and working with his hands created a hobby that would eventually grow into a family business.
In the years that followed, trading started from a shed behind the house. Together with his good friend Piet, he regularly traveled to France and Belgium to buy old stocks from Renault garages. Many garages closed or made way for more modern models, giving beautiful original parts a second life.
The shed soon turned out to be much too small. The first business space was rented called 'Cools' in Tilburg. The range grew steadily and more and more Renault enthusiasts from home and abroad became aware of it
find the way to us.
When this location also outgrew its capacity, we moved to a larger warehouse in Poppel. During this period we had the opportunity to take over complete stocks from other traders. Because of that
our range expanded from the Renault 16 to include the Renault 12, Renault 20-30, Renault 14 and many other classic Renault models.
My aunt Marleen built the first web shops, which took a new step. Thousands of parts were photographed, described and posted online one by one. This laid the foundation for what is today one of the largest specialized stocks of classic Renault parts.
We moved to our current location in 2025. Here we have a spacious warehouse in which thousands of original parts are clearly stored. We also have a fully equipped workshop where our mechanic Gerard overhauls engines, gearboxes and other technical parts and prepares them for a new life.
At the same time, we have taken a big step in modernizing our company. The various web shops have been combined into one clear web shop: Renault Oldtimer Parts. Because of this
enthusiasts of classic Renaults can search even more easily among thousands of parts for various models.
Although the company has grown considerably, our working method has remained the same as before. We believe in personal service, honest advice and a passion for classic Renaults. Many of our parts are original Renault NOS (New Old Stock) parts. We know how special these cars are and understand how important it is to find the right parts.
Every order that leaves our warehouse carries a little piece of that passion with it. And we are still proud of that every day for more than forty years.
Our team
-
Geert – CEO
Geert is the driving force behind Renault Oldtimer Parts and has more than forty years of experience with classic Renaults. His greatest passion lies with the Renault 16, of which he has built up exceptional knowledge. Over the years he has owned thousands of parts and often knows immediately which part is needed.
Every day, Geert is busy selecting, checking and putting parts online. He is also responsible for purchasing and maintains an extensive network of suppliers and collectors at home and abroad. Thanks to his enormous knowledge and enthusiasm, he helps customers every day with technical advice and finding difficult to obtain parts. -
Juul – IT & Operations
Juul is responsible for the daily operations behind the scenes. He is involved in marketing, communication, webshop development and management of digital systems. In addition, he ensures that orders are processed carefully and shipped worldwide every day.
Growing up among Renault parts, the love for classic Renaults was instilled in me at an early age. Although his passion lies mainly in technology and automation, he learns more about the cars themselves every day. His mission is to prepare Renault Oldtimer Parts for the future, without losing the personal service and knowledge that the company has been known for for decades. -
Gerard – Head mechanic
About ten years ago, Gerard sent us an email with a simple question: whether he could overhaul engines for us. After a lifetime of working in engine technology, mainly tractors and agricultural machines, he wanted to fully focus on his great passion:
classic Renault engines.
That collaboration turned out to be a bull's eye. Nowadays, Gerard can be found in our workshop several days a week, where he completely overhauls engines, gearboxes, carburetors and other technical parts. With his craftsmanship, precision and years of experience, he knows how to bring parts that many consider unusable back into top condition. -
Roger – Warehouse Manager
Roger is one of Geert's oldest friends. They have been hanging out together since their college days and have built up many wonderful memories. A few years ago, Roger joined our team as Warehouse Manager, a role that was tailor-made for him.
With his eye for detail and exceptional accuracy, Roger is invaluable within the company. He checks stocks, carefully selects parts and ensures that the warehouse is always clear and well organized.
In addition to his craftsmanship, Roger is above all a great colleague. With his humor, positive attitude and down-to-earth approach, he creates a good atmosphere in the workplace every day. He is a force we can always count on and his efforts help ensure that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. -
Guus – Chief Happiness Officer
Guus may not be an official employee, but he is just as much a part of the team as anyone else. With his endless enthusiasm, wagging tail and love for balls and other toys, he puts a smile on everyone's face every day.
Whether you are busy looking for parts, packing orders or sitting behind the computer, Guus always knows how to choose exactly the right moment to challenge you to a short game. He reminds us that hard work is important, but that there should always be room for fun and relaxation.
Customers who visit are always greeted friendly and colleagues can always count on a cheerful distraction during a busy working day. Thanks to his infectious energy and playful character, Guus brings life to the brewery and contributes to the pleasant atmosphere within our company every day.
His official position?
Chief Happiness Officer. And he fulfills that role with full conviction.
